Tallinn Town Hall Square (Raekoja plats)
Today the Town Hall of Tallinn remains a cultural focal point for the city. In summer, it’s filled with outdoor cafés and is home to countless open-air concerts, handicraft fairs and medieval markets.
The Town Hall of Tallinn was established on the central square (Raekoja plats), probably at the beginning of 13th century. In the 15th century, the building was substantially reconstructed. The exterior we know today dates from this period.
