Window of Casa de las Conchas |
This window belongs to the Casa de las Conchas in Salamanca, Spain, a palace built from 1493 to 1517 by a knight of the
Order of Santiago and professor in the University of
Salamanca. Its most peculiar feature is the façade, mixing late Gothic
and Plateresque styles, decorated with lots of shells, symbol of
the order of Santiago.
