The Fairy Glen Falls are in the village of Rosemarkie, 15 miles away by road from Inverness, Scotland.

There you will find a perfectly marked hiking trail that starts from a parking area. The route ends near two waterfalls that, honoring its name, seem taken from a fairy tale. Through the valley runs a stream, which is crossed by several bridges. The length of the path does not reach 1.5 km, less than three km round trip.

You will probably have to go through muddy areas, so you should wear suitable shoes.

Near the falls is the main road, but it has no sidewalks or shoulder, so the best option for the return is to retrace your steps back down the trail.
