The Bode Museum in the Museum Island of Berlin
|
The Museum Island (Museumsinsel) is an island of the Spree river located in the center of Berlin. Or, rather, it is the northern half of that island, since it is there where the Pergamon Museum, the Neues Museum (new museum), the Altes Museum (old museum), the Old National Gallery of Berlin and the Bode Museum are. Next to them is the Berlin Cathedral.
The Museum Island is at the beginning of the Unter den Linden avenue, at the end of which is the Brandenburg Gate. If you go to Berlin, you will surely walk through Unter den Linden, and you will pass next to the Museum Island. You choose whether you go inside it or not.
