Temple of the Inscriptions

The Temple of the Inscriptions is the largest Mesoamerican stepped pyramid structure. It is located in the Maya site of Palenque, in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. The structure was built as the funerary monument for Pakal, ruler of Palenque in the 7th century.
