Bragança castle

Bragança, a small city in northeastern Portugal, has, among other tourist attractions, a castle in good condition. The strong main tower of the castle now houses a military museum.

River Cong

The River Cong rises in the village of Cong, County Mayo, Ireland. The river is popular with fishermen having an excellent run of spring salmon and brown trout.

Glendalough: tower

Glendalough, Ireland, is renowned for its medieval monastic settlement, founded in the 6th century by St Kevin. Behind the trees, you can see an Irish round tower.
